Milan Blanuša

Born: 1943, Jagodina – 2025, Vršac

Born on 28 April 1943 in Jagodina, died on 19 May 2025 in Vršac. He graduated in painting in 1967 from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, completed postgraduate studies in Braunschweig in 1973 and specialised in printmaking in Frankfurt am Main in 1978.

He worked in painting, drawing and printmaking. A member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia from 1973, he also served as a full professor at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.

He held solo exhibitions in Braunschweig, Belgrade and Novi Sad and took part in the October Salon and the First Belgrade Triennial of Drawing and Small Sculpture. He received the Politika Award, the ULUS Golden Plaque, the Sava Šumanović Award and an award at an exhibition in Zagreb.
