Marina Popović

Born: 1976, Beograd

Born in 1976 in Belgrade. She completed the secondary school of design in Belgrade (1991–1994), studied at the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design (1995–1997) and graduated in painting from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad (1997–1999), where she also completed her master's studies (1999–2001). She finished her doctoral studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade in 2009.

Since 2004 she has taught in the painting department of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and was appointed assistant professor in 2013.

She works in painting, drawing, objects and digital media.
